What is awareness?
Who helps you?
Where do you get help?
What is awareness?
Awareness means paying attention.
It means: we look out for each other.
We are the Student Council of Agricultural Sciences.
We are students at the University of Bonn.
We organise parties and events.
Everyone should feel good with us.
Everyone may be the way they are.
We look out for that.
Our rules
Everyone treats each other with respect.
That means: friendly and without meanness.
Nobody is treated badly.
For example not because of:
their gender,
their religion,
how they look,
whether they love men or women,
a disability,
their language,
or because someone has little money.
Every person has their own limits.
Everyone must respect these limits.
No means no.
You do not have to explain a no.
When can you come to us?
You can always come to us.
For example:
Someone touches you.
And you do not want that.
Someone says mean things to you.
Someone follows you.
Or someone scares you.
You simply do not feel good.
And you do not know exactly why.
You have seen something.
And you are worried about another person.
The reason does not have to be big.
You may always come.
Who helps you?
At every party at least 2 people are there for awareness.
We say at the start who they are.
You can talk to these people.
You can also ask at the bar.
The bar is the counter with the drinks.
You can also call.
This is the number of the awareness phone:
0152 09043326
This number only works during a party.
Between parties Anna and Niklas help.
They lead awareness with us.
You can write them an e-mail:
kontakt@fsagrar.de
The secret sentence
There is a secret sentence.
The sentence is: Is Luisa here?
You can say this sentence.
For example at the bar.
Then we know: you need help.
And nobody else notices.
Luisa is not a real person.
Luisa is only a code word.
What do we do then?
We listen to you.
We believe you.
We do not ask: is that really true?
We go with you to a quiet place.
If you want that.
We do not tell anyone.
You decide what happens.
We do nothing without you.
For example we can:
stay with you,
take you home,
talk to the other person,
send the other person home,
or call a doctor.
You tell us what you want.
If you are feeling very bad
Some people are very sad.
So sad that they do not want to live any more.
That is nothing to be ashamed of.
Such thoughts come in hard times.
Please do not stay alone with this.
Talk to someone about it.
Talking helps.
