Suggestion box.

Something is going wrong and you want to say so without giving your name? Here you can. Your message is anonymous and goes to the council’s board and awareness team; only they read it. What follows from it, we discuss in confidence.

The form does not ask for your name or e-mail address, sets no cookies and stores neither your IP address nor any other identifier. Because we do not know who wrote the message, we cannot reply. If you want a reply, use the contact form.

Not crisis support: nobody reads the suggestion box straight away, and we cannot reply anonymously. If you are not doing well or a boundary has been crossed, please turn to the awareness team and leads or, around the clock, to the Telefonseelsorge on 0800 111 0 111 or 0800 111 0 222. In an emergency: 112.

What we store

Topic, reference and message, nothing else: no name, no e-mail address, no IP address, no identifier, no cookies. The message is stored encrypted on this website until the board and the awareness team collect it into the council’s internal tool (it is deleted here after 30 days at the latest). Nobody receives the content by e-mail. To prevent abuse the page counts for one hour how often a connection has written, only as a checksum that changes daily. As with every page request, the server writes a line to its access log; we do not analyse it. Privacy

To be honest: on submission the server writes a line to its access log, as it does for every page view, and that line contains an IP address. We do not evaluate it and have no access to it, but technically it exists. If that feels too uncertain: a note in the letter slot at our door always works.
